2020 Lent & Easter Peace Walk

Over the past four years 3rd Way Collective has helped to organize a collaborative campus and community peace walk on Palm Sunday. This annual ecumenical 1-mile walk has helped our community celebrate peace in a participatory and collaborative way, noticing and acknowledging the many ways people are working for peace in our area.

This year we are proposing something a little bit different. Rather than a single day or time, we are inviting our community to be using our footsteps for peace during Lent and Easter.

Consider joining us as we;

  • Work for peace in our homes, jobs, schools, and faith communities.
  • Regularly walk our new “Justice-Minded Peace Walk Map” (share days and times that you will be walking, and invite others to join!)
  • Show up and speak peace into community bridge-building and advocacy spaces.
  • Ecumenically participate and offer peace in faith events as they happen (see list below!)
